PHOENIX, Ariz. (August 7, 2013)- Employees of Phoenix business law firm Jaburg Wilk asked management to have a Jeans for Charity day to raise money for the 19 firefighters who were killed while battling the Yarnell Hill Fire.
Employees were able to wear jeans to work if a donation was brought in for the 19 firefighters. Various attorneys then matched the total amount of money brought in by the firm. The money was sent to the 100 Club of Arizona, a nonprofit organization dedicated to standing behind the men and women who stand behind the badge. The 100 club has been supporting Arizona public safety agencies, officers, firefighters, paramedics and their families through financial assistance, peer support training, safety enhancement stipends and scholarships for over 40 years.
"We are honored to contribute to the families of the brave men that lost their lives working to save the people and property of Arizona," said Jaburg Wilk Managing Partner Gary Jaburg.
Jaburg Wilk is an AV rated Phoenix law firm, the highest level of professionalism according to the Martindale-Hubbell.
