The primary purpose of AzELA is to conduct educational meetings regarding employment law for attorneys, law students, and other interested persons. Among other things, AzELA provides its members with opportunities to fulfill continuing legal education (“CLE”) requirements by means of an annual employment law seminar each February and approximately nine or ten additional monthly meetings throughout the year focusing on recent significant cases and developments in employment law at no additional cost beyond the membership fee. In addition, AzELA promotes the interests of employees and assists its lawyer-members through information sharing, professional networking, and advocacy on issues important to members and the employees they represent.
