Cori R Viola

Corrinne (“Cori”) primarily practices in the areas of creditor’s rights, commercial litigation with a focus in disputed real estate transactions, and employment law. Having appeared in Justice, Superior, and Federal Courts, as well as a range of administrative bodies, Cori is well-versed in litigation ranging from simple to complex and high-stakes claims. Cori regularly represents plaintiffs and defendants in litigation.

Cori represents employees with their employment claims including: violations of Title VII (sexual harassment and discrimination), violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, violations of Arizona’s Paid Sick Time law, Wrongful Termination, whistle blower claims, and other claims falling within federal, state, and local employment laws. Cori also represents employees in severance, compensation, and contract negotiations with their employers. Given the often complex nature of employer-employees relationships, doing this work has developed for Cori a deep appreciation for finding a practical and economical solution for her clients.

Her creditor’s rights experience is both commercial and consumer although she primarily focuses her practice on commercial collections.  As a component of that work, she has experience working through complex real estate title issues to assist in getting the creditor paid. Cori is well-versed in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, having represented institutional creditors for nearly the entirety of her practice. Cori is comfortable handling all aspects of these proceedings, ranging from pre-judgment complaints to post-judgment collection proceedings.

Cori’s litigation experience extends all the way through trials. Cori has first and second-chaired many bench trials. Doing so has developed Cori’s skill in drafting trial briefs, joint pre-trial statements, closing briefs, and other trial-related filings.

Our Testimonials

What Our Clients Say

Cori Viola could not have been more accommodating to me and my need for consultation as I represented myself in an Appeal Case before the AZ Superior Court. Taking cues from her allowed me to win my Appeal as well as negotiate an out-of-court settlement with a very defiant Defendant. I felt very supported by a women-to-women advocate. I would never hesitate to recommend her wise counsel.
