Employees of Jaburg Wilk competed to build eight bikes clients of The Foster Alliance. Blending a mix of competition, game show questions, building speed and accuracy, they raced to build and ride their bike across the finish line. It was a fun afternoon for a great cause. The bikes were built for teens and young adults, many of whom may use their bike as their primary mode of transportation.
The Foster Alliance is an Arizona qualified foster care agency. Their mission is to support the foster care community by providing essentials to benefit children in foster care. Last year, they distributed more than $5.5 million worth of essential resources to the foster community including items such as brand-new beds, cribs, shoes, clothing, diapers, pull-ups, and wipes. Families could fill their gas tanks without hesitation, pay their utility bills, and even purchase everything on their grocery list while providing the best possible life for the foster children in their care.
