Employees of Jaburg Wilk donated an afternoon to assist Desert Mission Food Bank. This is the ninth time that Jaburg Wilk employees have helped Desert Mission Food Bank. And, it was the premiere wearing of our new volunteer shirts!
Our team first sorted food items from various sources into large bins. After that they split into smaller groups who packed boxes with fruit and vegetables while others created bags of dairy products. Another group helped prepare deli bags that included bread and meats for food bank clients.
Additionally, they collected and donated more than 1,000 plastic bags for clients to use while shopping.
