PHOENIX, Ariz. (April 29, 2016)- Phoenix business law firm Jaburg Wilk participated in New City Phoenix’s Spring Painting Blitz. The Barrio Nuevo program revitalizes and transforms marginalized and under resourced neighborhoods in South Phoenix.
Employees of the firm painted the home of an elderly couple, who were excited to have their home freshly painted. “Jaburg Wilk and its employees look for ways to give back to our community both with their volunteer time as well as through financial commitments. Painting homes is a great way to make a visible difference and improve neighborhoods ” said Managing Partner Gary Jaburg.
New City Phoenix, founded by Dave Bennett, uses community volunteers to paint homes of low income and elderly families in South Phoenix. In just eight years, the organization has painted a total of 132 homes. In addition to transforming neighborhoods, the organization helps at risk teens discover their life’s passion through continued learning.
