Employees of Jaburg Wilk put on their running – and walking – shoes to participate in the 17th annual Run for Ryan House on Nov. 7th. Jaburg Wilk employees formed Team Cooper to support a co-worker whose child is fighting a serious illness. They were honored to run, and walk, on his behalf. It was a beautiful day and both dogs and strollers were welcome! One of their employee’s even placed in the 5k run. Funds raised at the event support Ryan House in their mission to provide world class care and programs for medically fragile children and families.
Nearly 800 runners, walkers, wheelchairs, strollers, and dogs attended and assisted in raising more than $73,000 at the 17th annual Run for Ryan House on Sunday, Nov. 7, which featured a 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Family Fun Run at Riverview Park in Mesa.
Funds raised from this event will assist in Ryan House’s mission to continue to provide world-class care and programs for the children with medically fragile conditions and families it serves as they navigate life-limiting or end-of-life journeys.
The morning’s activities were chock full of fun and celebration as the event featured an expo area with a wide variety of Valley businesses sharing their info and product with event attendees. Plus, the Arizona Diamondbacks, D. Baxter, and Cardinals Cheerleaders were on hand milling around the crowd all morning.
