PHOENIX, Ariz. (10/9/2020) Michelle Ronan has been named to the Board of Directors of Ryan House.
Ronan, an insurance law attorney and partner at Jaburg Wilk, said “Ryan House is special to me. I wanted to work with a non-profit that made a difference in the lives of families with medically fragile children. The Ryan House home is a supportive, colorful, engaging, and inviting home. Being able to see the relief they provide to families coping with overwhelming stress and the childrens’ smiles when they forget about their limitations and just have fun is rewarding.”
Founded in 2005, Ryan House’s’ mission is to embrace children and their families as they navigate life-limiting or end-of-life journeys through palliative and respite care. They recently provided 37,368 hours of respite care to 321 children and their families. Their unique approach addresses the emotional, spiritual, and social needs of the family while also providing relief of the symptoms, pain, and stress associated with any serious illness.
