Jaburg Wilk Sponsors Food Drive

PHOENIX, Ariz. (05/9/2023) –   Jaburg Wilk recently sponsored a food drive to benefit homeless veterans who are assisted by Musically Fed.   Employees of Jaburg Wilk donated essential food and hygiene needs that included peanut butter, chili, beef stew, tuna fish, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products.   They collected more than 415 pounds of food which will be used to create 120 essential food and hygiene boxes for homeless veterans.

“I have been involved with Musically Fed since its inception in 2019.  Their mission is to repurpose food to feed the homeless and food insecure in our community.  This was our first partnership with Musically Fed.  We hope that this successful food drive is the beginning of a long-term partnership.  The generosity of our employees to provide this much food for veterans was both exciting and humbling.” said Neal Bookspan, Jaburg Wilk shareholder and board member of Musically Fed.

Musically Fed is a non-profit that works to mobilize the music industry in the fight against hunger.   They work with artists, promoters, management, and venues nationwide to donate unused, backstage meals to community organizations comprised of at least 50% veterans and who focus on feeding the homeless, hungry, and food insecure.  Their goal is to make it easy for promoters and performers to leave each city they visit with a lasting, positive impact.

Jaburg Wilk is an AV rated mid-size law firm serving individuals and businesses.
