We are fortunate to be part of such an incredible community that continues to improve and thrive. At Jaburg Wilk, we are committed to making a difference and “being the change”.
2014 was a great year, as we were able to assist a plethora of organizations, (See our Community Page for details) as well as launch the ‘Give a Day, Get a Day’ community service program. Our staff employees have 8 paid hours to volunteer in the community.
2015 is off to a great start! JW employees continue to assist St. Joseph the Worker. Most recently with their ‘Hike for the Homeless’ event taking place March 7, 2015. This event raises money to help homeless and disadvantaged individuals secure employment.
Last year, SJW helped 2,457 homeless individuals return to work by providing free employment resources throughout our community such as shoes, uniforms, transportation and other work-related necessities.
This organization truly demonstrates being the change they wish to see. They have changed lives which in turn enhances our community. Thank you SJW for your continued efforts in making our community a better place to live.
