Emma is a commercial litigation attorney licensed in Arizona. Her practice focuses on employment law and education law matters. In her employment law practices, she helps employees with wrongful termination claims, Fair Labor Standards Act claims, discrimination claims, and retaliation claims. She also helps employers draft and revise Employee Handbooks to ensure compliance with local and federal laws. In her education law practice, she represents teachers before the Arizona Department of Education, helps students with Americans with Disabilities Act claims, and Rehabilitation Act of 1974 claims. She also represents students facing disciplinary action.
Emma has been recognized as a Phoenix Magazine Rising Star in Education Law. Prior to being admitted to practice, Emma clerked at various Phoenix area law firms assisting with probate, insurance defense, and securities claims.
While in law school, she completed two externships, one at the Arizona House of Representatives where she worked with the Rules Committee and the second at the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division I. Additionally, she completed an internship at the Arizona Center for Disability Law in their Special Education Advocacy Program.
